so why raise it? do you think the OP wasnt feeling bad as it was.
you felt they needed another kick?
as its stands they have neither their items or the payment they received for those items
the buyer has both0 -

The seller didn't receive the item back, and has had the money reversed, so i read it as they have neither?
Aarons mum, has the buyer only claimed one fraudulent transaction, ie only on one of the items you sent or have you had money reversed for all the items they bought from you?0 -
Actually whilst it is unimportant in the great scheme of things it is incorrect to say that seller has lost both money and item. They had an item which they exchanged for cash, so they gave up the item at that point as the cash replaced it. The cash was then taken back so they have lost the cash. The item was no longer theirs as soon as they accepted cash for it.
Anyway, however you look at it the OP has lost money and I am at a loss to see what to suggest to put things right here. Normally i would do my cut and paste about informing the buyer that ebay have advised them to take legal action against them, but the buyer doesn't look like the sort who would be worried by that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have only ever had one chargeback against me. I messaged a buyer saying I had sent an item then a few hours later recieved an email from paypal saying a chargeback had been instigated. I did send it recorded so included the tracking number and a copy of the messages I sent to the buyer, and mentioned how the chargeback happened a few hours after I told them of the posting.
I got an email saying the tracking number didnt show postcode so this wasnt sufficient (It was still saying being processed through the system) so I said I could scan the reciept as this did, which they told me to do. However before I had time to I got an email saying it was decided in my favour. Now I realise I was lucky as everyone seems to say without a POP showing correct address you dont stand a chance. But if I was lucky maybe you could be?
Just explain everything in the reply. Go step by step, when it was sold, address given (and sent to, no need to say you have thrown the POP away!), copy any correspondance and when they were sent, details of the paypal case (surely this would also show they recieved the items), then when chargeback was instigated. Explain that as the item opened a dispute andlost you feel this shows that they definately recieved the items and as they lost the SNAD are now trying another route to get money back.
You can only give ALL the information you have. Many might say its useless but worth a try surely?0 -
Just keep on at paypal, use logic.
They know you posted it, so they have enough evidence to cover it.
We never get proof of postage, but we've won a few of these anyway just by being persitently logical.
Eventually if you are lucky you'll come across a paypal employee who can see sense. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. Never a good idea it has to be said.thepedestrian wrote: »hey thats bad news - I hate scammers - you want to name and shame ,so that I can block the scamming scumbags !
There are a lot of busy troublemakers about, and giving them a way to identify a seller (which this could very easily) on a public forum is a bit pointless.
Not that anyone probably has anything against the OP, but always best to be aware that it can identify more than was wanted. This is my opinion. can I ask (while i remember). most of my post offices when i ask for POP give me a receipt, occassionally they write the postcode on this, most of the time I do.
they are literally proof i posted an item but certainly have no details where the parcel was sent to. have they been giving me incorrect paperwork for the last year???loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I rang paypal, treatening id involve the police and they literally closed the case an hour later in my favour.the buyer then left me negative feedback for the very last item, which ebay removed.some people eh?!0
