No, I haven't - I sent away for two (different addresses) but no sign of them.
    Is it worth phoning them?
Can anyone remember if there was a use-by date?

I have a funny feeling that this voucher promotion was a marketing scam. I bought the paper (x3 for family), registered all 3 vouchers and posted ALL ON THE SAME DAY the promotion was run but I and my partner (not sure about my mother yet, I will have to check later today) have received letters saying:

    "Dear Reader

Thank you for your application to receive a free £5.00 National Garden Gift voucher. Regrettably, we are writing to advise you that we are unable to process your application due to non receipt of the paper validation form/its receipt within the allocated redemption deadline.

We are sorry you were not successful on this ocassion so in anticipation of your disappointment, as a valued reader, we enclose free vouchers for both the Daily and Sunday Express.

We hope you continue to enjoy the Express.

    Yours sincerely

Mum got this letter today and I suspect mine will be waiting for me tonight. What a con.

I got the same letter and I posted my application in the same town as the Promotion address! Am waiting for them to call me back.

The same thing for me too and I phoned before lunchtime on the Saturday and posted the voucher the same day. Very disappointing. Feels like a bit of a con to me!
  • I also received the exact same letter today

I wonder if anyone has received a voucher or if it is a con to increase their circulation - not to mention the costly (0844) phone calls.

I wonder whether it is worth us all pursuing them in the small claims court for breach of contract. This would cause them a good deal of hassle and, hopefully, deter them and others from doing it again!
