Hi, can anyone tell me, out of these two tellys, which one should I go for?

(wanting to get a quick answer & explanation if poss, as wanting to buy today and shop closes at 6pm)

LG 50PK350 50" Full HD Plasma TV

SAMSUNG PS50C450B 50" HD Ready Plasma TV

Aside from the LG being Full HD 1080p, and the sumsung not being full HD, what are the other differences?

Which would you go for, and why?

I personally don't like both companied to be honest.

If I had to choose I'd go for LG - it is more expensive originally.

    Personally I'd look at Panasonic.

The LG, and yes £50 cheaper at RicherSounds, you will need help to lift it!

HD displays = three major categories: HDTV, HD Ready and HD Compatible.

Both HDTV and HD Ready displays have the ability to accept and display HD images via various external sources. However, HDTV displays also have the aptitude to receive free off-the-air HD channels via an aerial, antenna or satellite thanks to the embedded HD tuner.

    I did - no regrets !

I would say from the two brands he mentions that he was at Comet, they are the two that they "push" !

Got the LG in the end, no question about it. It also has USB too, which apparently means I can play DivX, but I'll believe it when I see it!

    - good choice between the two, enjoy your new TV !
    - it's got a full - on screen coloured help manual - on the setup button.
    - play's DivX & MP3's & is a 50 inch electronic photo frame.
    - if your on STB use an HDMi cable
    - if you have a surround sound use a Digital audio optical out cable

Only less than two short hours to make an expensive decision
