My nephew (who is 3) used his as a telescope - I think this was the best option after I heard the noise it made when my bro played it!!

Why oh why would anyone want one of these? Having watched the France game last night it was like having a fly constantly buzzing around the room - god knows what it must be like standing in front of one at a game :eek:

Yes It drove me mad as well sounded like a swarm of bees to me.I had to leave the room.I hope it stays over there.

If one of these get's blown in my ear next season it will be rammed down the blowers throat be they 56 or 6 years old. Totally destroying the atmosphere at the world cup

Thanks but no thanks! Nearly drove me mad last night watching England - couldn't hear the England fans chanting and at times could hardly hear the commentators. Should be banned ASAP

Just been to my local Tesco - (New Malden)

A nice lady (depending on how you feel about these things) was giving away free VUVUZELAs courtesy of the SUN newspaper. this was on the way in, so no purchase was required.

That has to be one of the worst freebies ever. I would take her entire stock and burn it. Death to the Vuvuzela.

As banned at SA Rubgy Matches ....

  • Oh calm down! It's all a bit of fun...personally, I think it adds to the atmosphere at the games - yeah, it does sound a little annoying, but that's the African way of celebrating/making a party atmosphere in the stadium.

I'm not a great fan of the noise they make but I think they're a fantastic thing to have at the world cup, and the atmosphere would certainly be a lot less encapsulating if they weren't around!

Remember, the world cup is held in different countries to experience the culture of those countries too!
