Best place for you to go is the end of Blyth pier then jump off> if you are abit screamish about it I could arrange to help you with a gentle push

Thats not very nice. I agree with them. I hope they do go through with this ban. It is very unhygenic having kids playing in the sand where a dog has had a wee or poo. I as a dog owner wouldn't dream of taking my dog on a beach full of people. Surely you can all wait until the holiday season is over ;)

plz look at the link of pics i posted i give up how many times i have been there and theres noone on a 7 mile strech of beach but for dog walkers or dog walkers with kids , the beach is a safest place as it gets to walk no cars etc

in the pics you will see 60 dogs 90% of them are rescued or on there second home i no some dogs on there 8th home then the exersise is given to what they need a bang there fine , but in years of taking all them dogs down the beach theres never been a fight or even a growl , and alot of the area is farm land with livestock on which a dog can be shot for distubing them

the events the charity i help events are help during the day from mainly easter up till nov time , rescue is crazy atm less funds to help dogs will make it worse and that cant be rasied without these events sad reality but when a dog is adopted this often doesnt cover all there vets bills

If there is never ever any families who sunbathe or play in that area and it's only used by dogs and their owners then that is different.

So are dogs going to be banned from Parks, country walks, National heritage sites, castle grounds, public lakes and ponds, riverside picnic areas etc?

Dogs go to all these places and children play in all these places too.

The councils would be better off cracking down HARD on the ones who do not clean up after their dogs rather than putting a blanket ban in place as this affects everyone, even the ones who do always clear up after their dogs.

It cant be right, surely, that a dog cannot go for a walk with its owner in the Middle of January when there isnt a single person in sight?

druridge is really is that quiet -

it honestly is pretty much just people with dogs.

once we had about 20 dogs all running around, and the only other people we saw had dogs with them!

When is it full of people on Druridge Bay beach? Every time I have been there it's quiet and mainly dog walkers. Have you even been there?

I never take my dog on beaches when there are lots of people.
Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop

we live at the coast and our dog is not allowed to use some beaches from 10 til 6 from the end of may to the end of september, not allowed to use some beaches ANYTIME from may to september but allowed to use other beaches any time at all all year round.

personally i feel this is a good compromise, clearly the best beaches are where dogs are not allowed at those times due to tourist etc, so if we want to take him to the beach in the day we use somewhere else or the countryside/parks etc. luckily we have cliff top walks so even though we cant go on our nearest beach in the day, we can walk him along the top but usually walk him outside of those hours anyway.

plz look at my link and pics, theres noone but dog walkers there a few people have said that, and i cant go to my local beach as they have the restrictions, there is one but i have ,moblity issues and geting down all them stairs not going to happen,

and have you heard of a springer that fell 200ft think was down devon after chasing a bird, clif top walks are just dangourus, another thing they have put in but i do agree with is not allowed in kids schools on fields i wouldnt dare take my girl there as well as the clif tops but theres less and less places for dogs to go and if you live in a town even less
