No they need your signature to process that so they would not be able to change the address on the account and this information is on the Halifax Website click here
You can change your address via Telephone Banking without a signature.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

Not everything is publicised on Halifax's website, in particular in regards to Telephone Banking. For example Halifax has a £2500 Faster Payments limit which is not detailed on their website but can be found here.
Unfortunately I cannot provide an online source for being able to change address via Telephone Banking. I can only advise from experience. It may seem like a cop out but call them and ask - 08457 20 30 40 (*0 to speak with an advisor).Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong.
