    Hi there

With mine, with the lender also being Nemo, my broker dissolved, delottes contact Nemo for the details, so no worries.;)

Weird. Why would they bother writing to me to ask for proof when surely they need to do that themselves anyway?

I know what you mean, I think they do this first as a procedure, then go on to the lender for more details, due to the broker not being any longer available.;)

Looks like they are moving on with it though, it was a year on after they received my claim form before they requested for any details from me.
Saying that, even the broker e-loan dissolved it was not until the year after or so they were actually declared in default, yet I am aware that Magic Loans are already declared in default, so you should not be waiting as long.
    Fingers crossed.

True that. I also received a second application from the FSCS so I guess they found the email!

  • Hi mutron,

I'm a newbie poster but long time reader of these threads and just wanted to thank your for this post. I too had a loan brokered through Magic (and funnily enough the lender was Paragon!) with PPI added as a single premium in the region of £8k. Thanks to this thread amongst others I've decided to go the FSCS route with Magic, keeping my fingers crossed for us all, keep us posted :)
