    Hi Andy

    this will actually depend if the business is in default.

    For instance, one of my reclaims, the business dissolved, I sent in my claim to the FSCS, and it was a year after (something like that) when the business were actually declared in default, then basically its all go from there.;)

    Any idea how long FSCS take to get in touch after the Initial Enquiry Questionnaire? I haven't had so much as an acknowledgment but I'm probably being impatient!

    I cannot remember exactly, but I think if I remember correctly we contacted them a few weeks on.
    So it may be worth you giving them a call.;)

    Gave them a phone earlier...not even on their system yet.

    Arh right, if I remember correctly, think it was about 2-3 weeks, as they then arrange to send out claim forms in batches.

    But do keep chasing them up as well.:)

    Disappointed to report FSCS claim that they haven't received my Initial Enquiry Questionnaire despite being emailed it so it looks like I'm back to square one.

    Very frustrating.
