I didn't say prices fell 6 months in a row.
I said Acadametrics showed prices falling 6 months in a row at the time.
Do you understand the difference? So you're wrong arn't you.
Oh dear god it's like arguing with a toddler.

I think it is crazy for people to talk price rises, when we have wide spread wage freezes coming, already high inflation and increased unemployment. These lower interst rates have just given a breathing space and now the crash is happening again.
As for the things that caused the recent price rises, the government housing budget is being slashed. No more shared ownership/equity inflated sales to distort the market. The CGT changes should also scare off foriegn investors.
Prices are going to start to fall from here on in, what are they going to do to stop it, we are broke. We could always lower interest rates. :rotfl:
By the way what happens to the government mortgage lending funds for banks this year. They stop and demand money back. Thats a heckof a lot less mortgage funds.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
