Well done mob, I suppose your vigilante justice badges mean that it's ok that there are kids who can't see their dads for fear that somebody will break in and attack them, I guess it's great that family and friends are living in fear of mob reprisal, and I suppose it's just brilliant to threaten and stalk people.
Wake up and smell the hypocrisy, if you're abusing these people and their friends and relatives, you are far worse than the people you're targeting.
Grow up, you're ruining people's lives, and not the people you're going after.

When the kids grow up they will realise what a piece scum of a father they had.
The scumbag sales mob on that programme deserve everything what's hopefully coming to them. I sincerely hope they are hounded out of house and home.
They are just pure evil predatory scum who have no rights whatsoever in this world. I hope each and everyone of them suffers every disease known to man. I hope they suffer in the hopefully not too many years to come.0 -
I'm not suggesting that any of you are making threatening behaviour, but posting personal details of the staff sure is giving those who are plenty of ammunition.
How far does it have to go? A virgo employee beaten in front of his family? Killed? What does it take before the vigilantes realise what they are doing (or have done)
The real scum here are the people who are taking the law into their own hands.0 -
All the information in this thread is fully available to anyone with catch up tv or on the Watchdog/Rogue Traders website:

Frankly, if I did not want my name and face all over the internet, then I would not be doing anything to draw attention to myself - ie. behaving, in my opinion, like despicable scum.
I think there was a picture of Emma Whyte on the Rogue Trader site initially - it would be a public service really to see all the sales rep's pictures on here so that people know who you are when you turn up and can shut the door in your face.
If you are genuinely Sam Routh, then you really have no self-awareness whatsoever to come on MSE bleating and feeling sorry for yourself. You have caused a lot of misery and distress, and you reallly cannot be surprised if the response is unfavourable.
If your actions through your job, have brought shame, embarrassment, and resentment to your family, well I guess that would be your responsibility, wouldn't it?
Noone on here has made any of the threats you have claimed. But Sam Routh, Emma Whyte, Amarjit Gill, Stewart Young, Mark Murphy, have targetted vulnerable elderly victims, badgered and harrassed them, pressured them into parting with thousands of pounds. You have actually done the things you accuse MSE'ers of, and yet come on here to whine about it.0 -
No, I am not Sam Routh, but I wonder what it is you feel he's done.
RT shows him teaching staff to charge £1k+ over the price of their products - This is a widespread tactic among hard sell companies and while it's not exactly fair, it's very commonplace and widely known as the done thing (Ever put your house for sale? Most sellers up their price a bit to leave 'bartering room' without cutting into their profits)
Or maybe it's the customer who took £15k worth of stuff... Over several visits. A harassed customer would not open the door to the same salesman time and time again, meaning it's highly likely that those £15k worth of products sold themselves (albeit for an inflated price, but since it's mentioned that the customer never even questioned the price, clearly the customer isn't too worried about it)
Vigilante behaviour is a childish and irresponsible way to act, and promoting it is no better. There should be new laws introduced to prevent self-righteous newspapers, tv shows and other media outlets from 'naming and shaming' anybody for anything. This sort of thing should be left to the police or not done at all, as it can do untold amounts of damage to the lives of innocent people.0 -
If you think Sam is getting a hard time on here (He is not) have a look at other forums to see what a hard time is, try googling him as some are publishing his mobile number.
While you at it try googling "Karma"0 -

I'm watching them all, you guys are just equal contributors. This is not karma at all, this is idiots who think they have a God-given right to e judge, jury and executioner.0 -

What there shoule be laws about is people going into the houses of the elderly staying for hours giving them the hard sell until they are too confused to know what they are doing and taking their money for products that your charging a massive increase for
The people on the show who belittle the elderly and disable and pressure sell are the scum. If they dont want there actions known to the public then they should get a decent jobNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0 -
It is pathetric to come on here whining about being found out. 'There should be a law against naming and shaming on tv shows' - well, thank God for the likes of Watchdog, because how else would the public find out about Sam Routh, Amarjit Gill, Emma Whyte, Stewart Young, Mark Murphy, and Virgo Healthcare and their despicable practises? From the 82 year old dementia sufferer who was so distressed she called the police?
It's this company that needs to feel the weight of the law.
If you don't want to be named and shamed, don't do anything to be ashamed of.0
