Bank not allowing me to access my money!

My bank has stopped me from withdrawing my monies out of my current account until I have paid my credit card bill off in full!:mad: I did not receive any information on this action via the post, I found this out when I phoned them up about my card not working in a bank machine on Tuesday. Can the bank do this?

Your statement "That's actually illegal" is incorrect.

You may record conversations legally as the link I provided indicates.
The recording could be used as proof if the consent of the other party is obtained. If not it's a useful aide-memoire.
