Depends what it is and what the value is. If it is something you need seller protection on, then perhaps not a good idea. Can you give a bit more info.

Personally I wouldn't, too long for the buyer to change their mind.

If they end up winning your item , you could be in for a tricky time..., if it was me , i1d be barring their user ID from bidding on your item....

    What's their feedback like?

If they look 'safe' I would be tempted to say OK - means you might get a better price with more bidders.

I've also been asked this a couple of times over the years and always agree - they never end up winning anyway!

I had a second chance offer om something recently over a week after the item initially ended (suspect his buyer messed him about) at which point I no longer had all the available funds (after scary electric bill ) and I answered him to say yes we were still interested but wouldn't be able to pick up/pay for two weeks so if that wasn't OK we wouldn't accept the offer. Was OK with him, worked out well and we collected on payday with no hassle!

Personally I wouldn't bother. It's not like you have no bid on your item!

I had a lady email me and ask if she could bid but pay at end of month- as it was it was only a few days. Anything more than 1 week I think I would say no unless you had tried to sell before etc with little interest.

I've asked sellers a few times if I am able to buy now and pay up to 9 days later due to money taking time to be available from by bank to my paypal on the few times I realised I'd ran out of money. They've always said yes and I always pay exactly when I say I will :D

You do know that you don't have to transfer money to paypal from a linked bank account. As long as its verified you can pay instantly

As for the OP I would be blocking them and let the auction run as it sounds like you'll get an OK price from someone who will pay in a reasonable time

You may need seller protection if the item is over £41 (the value RM will cover for normal post with a CoP)

If it is less than this, you may feel you can risk sending normal mail. Worse case scenario is they claim not to have received it and you have to refund. With a cop you can claim from RM.

If more than £41 you should really send via a more insured method, such as SD. This will guarantee your safe delivery or money back (via claim).

If you don't need seller protection, you may feel you can trust the seller and post to any address, you could also get them to add the address to their PP payment for added security. But basically if it is less than £41, I wouldn't be too bothered where it goes or when. Up to you.
