Thankyou Mollyash
You're very brave (and organised) to do you're own dmp, I did think about it but I've got 5 kids and not alot of time, so decided to let cccs help me (they've been great). Also I really hate talking to people on the phone and when I set up my credit agreements I didn't give a phone number so luckily I've had no phone calls.LBM - December 2011, Total Debt - £13493.30, DFD - Mar 2021

good idea!!
I'm going to push the everything in writing thing because 3 of our 4 debts are in my husband's name, but I'm the one dealing with all the money stuff now. He'd just get flustered and agree to something he shouldn't (and sign things...) so at least with letters I can see and respond accordingly!0 -
Quick question....
I'm just sending my DMP letters to my creditors - should I sign them? Seems to be threads on here suggesting that I shouldn't??LBM:1/1/12Debts @ LBM:£43,546  Debts now: £9,486  78% PAIDFound YNAB 1/2/14 - the best thing EVER!0 -

NO! don't sign anything. Many naughty things can be done with a shiny new signature, like pasting into shnide documents or onto quickly knocked up CCA's after realising the original one has been lost .There are better things in life than worrying about money…like nailing a jelly to a tree for example.0 -
