Welcome and good luck knee high
Newsflash Aldi have tomato plugs 6 for £1.99 and a growbag for £1.29. Thought I'd give it a go. Anyone else going to bother?
Also a question please - does anyone know if a notice of arrears is the same as a default notice?
Hope everyone has a good day

A notice of arrears is just that, and not related to a default. Did you receive the information sheet that came with it explaining what it was?

I have been trawling the internet for advice about a DMP and came across Payplan. I called them this evening and they were really lovely and helpful and for the first time in a long time I hung up the phone after discussing finances not feeling like suicide, including with my partner!!
They are phoning me back tomorrow to do a full break down but I have now read some bad reviews. I guess I just want some support and to know that I am doing the right thing?
PP have been great with me too. What bad things have you heard about PP and/or DMPs?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -

Thank you Ian, though still a little confused. I thought I had defaults but now I'm wondering if they are just notice of arrears. Certainly the sheets look different. First to rob you Direct my loyal and trusty bank of 18 years turned me down for a consolidation loan and I thought they had issued one at least. Looking now there is talk of 'default sum notice' but the same arrears sheet I get when any of the others have given me arrears notices. Dear Twitty was talking about signing up for free credit checks, are arrears notices and defaults easy to make out on these? Any advice appreciated.

Good Luck
I too have just gone with Payplan, and they are being lovely.
It's free (Although they did try to sell some life cover, but not forcefully), all the money goes to the creditors, they're well known by all my creditors and although there are some reviews out there less-than-favourable, they are turning out to be 100% more efficient than DCM Money Solutions, who were ripping a lot of us of, and being very, very plausible in the process.
BTW- GOOD LUCK with the DMP!!!DFW Nerd Number 1378, and proud to be dealing with my debt.

Hey Guys,
Spoke to soon about not hearing anything....Santander have told me they dont accept my proposal, and are passing me on, so thats a bit scary
But not going to let it stress me too much.....fingers crossed i get some on board soon
Hope your all having a fab day :T0 -
df2010 - I have a debt with Santander, will be interested to see what they say to my offer, although I actually think they may be getting more than the minimum payment by the way the CCCS divide up the money. I am on a race against time to get the bank account closed with Santander asap so that they don't try and take money out of there.
I got my acknowledgement from CCCS that they received my stuff today  I am proper scared now! I may ring them all up tomorrow and ask them to take phone numbers off....

If you're saying you have a CC or loan AND a bank account with Santander, then they will take money from the A/C, regardless of whether or not you have closed the account.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430
