They are asking me to contact either them or Mercers to pay the account - the overdue amount, not the total amount.

I know that Niddy will be offering advice when he has a minute. I am not sure whether they should be sent a "threat of doorstep viit" or whther they can be ignored!

In the meantime, I was wondering whether anyone had heard of this outfit?

And, please note, I am not panicking at all this time!!!

It will say they "may" send someone so just ignore it.... they won't. BUT as they are now dealing, you ought to send one of these back, just for clarity: Account sold - whilst in Default of CCA Request

See you could send that template but personally i'd get them for the main breach, of selling a defaulted account, prior to worrying about procedure (i.e. threats of visits) - point is they have no legal right to do anything so right now, you need to remind them that the lender is in breach - then send off the specific letters, once they know the original account is in dispute...

See my reasoning for this? lol :rotfl:

Just a dozy question - do I send the letter to Mercers (although I think they are Barclaycard!) or these Resolvecall people? Incidentally, the letter they sent has the wrong account number on it - not sure whether this matters on not?

Really apprecate your time in this - I know you are off on your "spree" in Liverpool very soon!

Have just heard on the car radio - NOT a sports programme - that one of the players in the team England are playing (I can't remember who they are playing!) is one of Rangers star players. So, I guess you will be supporting England's opponents?

Thought that might be the case! Just trying to be a tad knowledgeable!

Still don't know who the other team is - was driving out of town when it was on the radio - I suppose I could look it up but I don't doubt it will be all over the telly tonight!

I didn't have a clue who the player was that you were talking about - still don't.
