Sometimes interviews are good for practising - once you are familiar with how the process works (first interview, guided tour, second interview, chats with various staff members etc) it becomes easier next time round. It is all experience and it is never over babe, till the fat lady sings so you never know!
I think I've got used to the process now SW!!! I must have applied for 250+ jobs since I graduated 3 years ago and had 15-20 interviews (lost count). The process is slightly different for Primary than secondary or FE. Usually visit school prior to applying and then, if you get shortlisted, you teach a lesson and have the interview on the same day and they usually let you know that evening. It's not often that you get to see the other candidates except on the school visit. There are still a few jobs out there and, if not, there's always supply in September.0 -

Hi, and thank you for remembering me.
Well, ladies and gents the drinks are on me.:beer::beer:, Son has his results, and after his surgery 2 weeks ago, they are fairly certain that they got all the cancer. He had a blood test today, and providing that comes back ok, then he will need no further treatment. He has to see the Consultant every month for the next year, and have a CT scan every 3 months for the next 2 years. So all in all, its absolutely brilliant news. OH and I are so relieved:beer:. And I feel that the follow-up care he is to be given is wonderful.
All these money worries pale into insignificance....
I'm sooooooooooo pleased for you Elsie, Really made my daySo sorry about that Pixie - keep trying love
