    Evening everyone,

I have been off doing other things so just popped on for a quick "catch-up".

Mind you, it isn't very quick, given all the postings.

Am still trying to get my head around them all!

so that I can take it to the recycling centre tomorrow.

Is this what we used to call the "Council Tip"?
Mind you, I'm not sure how I'll be able to connect to the internet. I've got a wireless router which my daughters used for their laptops but it might be a bit too technical for me to set up my desktop. if I'm not around tomorrow, you'll know I'm struggling with the technology!!!

I use a wireless router, Pixie. It is in the hall, plugged into the phone line. I have a laptop and can connect to the Internet from anywhere in the house. If your desktop was already using the wireless router all the connections should be saved there.

If not, you should also be able to do it by going to "network" in the "control panel" and then seeing if it detects the settings. If not, it is quite easy to set up a new connection - but you will need some sort of code or password for the router, as they are usually secured. (To stop the neighbours hacking into your connection - perish the thought in my case!)

I have never been to Wales. I will one day. I loved the film 'How Green Was My Valley'. My teachers were always kind to me. They spot 'odd kids' a mile off. The only headmaster i ever had was Welsh. He was fantastic to me. I used to have to see him for extra reading classes. I used to read stories like Robinson Crusoe and Treasure Island when i was 6. I grew up in hospital and missed a lot of school but because of kind people like Mr Green i was encouraged and allowed to study with kids who were 3 years older than me.

He was such a kind man. His father was a coal miner he used to tell me happy stories. I miss him.

Having been very quiet this evening, I think I will go off to bed myself.

Night, night to everyone who is still around.

    Sweet dreams and "talk" tomorrow.
