How mobile are you? Are you able to walk. A little walk every day or so should be fine to keep you healthy. Swimming is healthy and is good for people who have mobility problems, weight is carried by water which eases pressure on joints.
Half a kilo, SW!
I am very mobile - but terminally lazy - and think I am fairly fit (in the old-fashioned sense!) for a person of my advanced years! Certainly don't have any mobility problems - but I would like to lose another half a stone!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
mouse~Wine has lots & lots of empty calories Im afraid
That would be where the weight came from, then! And I thought that walking there and back would cancel out anything I ate! Didn't allow for the drink, though:("What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

It's not easy, is it, Pixie?
Lost over half a stone since finishing work - more exercise, less snacking - but now I think it has ground to a halt!
And I always eat less naturally in the summer!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Nature can be beautiful but it just makes us realise how small and insignificant we are in the universe. I was sent an email a while ago with images of us, the uk, the earth and where it fit into what is known about our universe. There is an infinity out there and most people (me included) are so focussed on little things. We have so much to be grateful for.
Bless you Lord for keeping all my friends safe. I hope they all sleep tight and that our friends Swanfan, Niddy and Fitz dont have terrible hangovers tommorrow.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I am still unclear as to your motives but to be fair, you've not been over here and with me not being in the Arms, i've stopped caring. But please do not come here causing trouble, that's all we ask.
If you want a fight then head to the arms, not here. Otherwise you're more than welcome, as is everyone else for that matter.
I'd just like to clear up any confusion with regards to my above post - in fairness to AmandaAyrshire and anyone that may be holding back as a result of my post.
A while back there was some accusations that suggested she may have been someone that she wasn't, i.e. what we call a Troll/Alter Ego (AE) due to some offending links to this site and 3rd party sites. This is unfounded.
I have seen the links to the posts and it is clearly another person and should not be confused with the same AmandaAyrshire that is talking to us on here. Amanda, I apologise for the above post but you now know why I posted it and thanks for helping to clear your name, thing is now people will take you at face value and not listen to the silly rumours, because you've actually spent time in clearing your own name - well done.
They had most of us suckered in, including me, to believing the bullsh!t that was, you being a troll. For my part, i'm sorry.
Sorted - enjoy your time on MSE2010 - year of the troll
