Met 'cute guy' again last night. He split with his girlfriend a few weeks ago but he still loves her and is hoping that they can get back together.

I'm not saying there's anything happening between me and him. It was just nice to get an explanation

Is this for your car insurance Ann?

I think we came to the conclusion before that the different departments within M & S Financial Services shared information, even if they're not meant to.

I'm not sure if they do credit checks or not - I didn't think so. I know that when I bought my house insurance online I was asked if I was bankrupt - but you're not!

All I can suggest is that you try and get insurance and see what happens. I think someone on the Bankruptcy board suggested going into a local brokers.

I'd try and buy online - and go through Topcashback or Quidco. I got £70 cashback when I took out my car insurance policy. Check prices on the comparison sites, choose which policy you want, clear your browsing history, then go on to cashback site to buy the insurance.

    Thanks Pixie,

    Much appreciated.

Will have a look at those sites. Sod M&S!!

Well fair play to the lad for being honest, at least you got an explanation.

It's difficult when you split up with someone you love. It's 6 months since I split with ex but I still have feelings for him.

Funny you should say that, Pixie.

My last ex but one has been in contact with me over the last two weeks. He lives over 300 miles away now but the phone calls are very flattering! But his domestic arrangement is complex - not saying any more!

He has suggested meeting but not sure I want to pursue that idea!

And he has no idea of my financial situation!
