hi amanda my father in law another straight talking man used to call his wifes mother "the old f-ing cow" and they used to have such battles he had the same humour as Nid but if you needed him he was the best and first to help you. He was there for her in the end when she had a very slow and painful end but still having a bit of black humour with her even then. So really I think he was just speaking out loud. Lots of peeps think stuff that is not very PC but dont dare say it we have gone a bit PC mad in this country, and it can be a way of coping in a difficult situation .Nid did post later on that he was very pleased the lady in question was finally getting help. He is quite clearly a loving father and husband and if he had to face what i had to years ago he would be such a strong character I can tell he would move heaven and earth for his family. Thanks for your comments and you are entitled to your opnion as well cos we live in a country where we can without being tortured or shot but lets leave it at that have a good day yourself.

    Jinny

Thanks for the above - you've hit the nail on the head - thanks. :D:D

I agree, lets leave it at that now and move on. Amanda probably doesn't realise we all know each other extremely well and have learned each others humour, to a neutral to the thread it may seem "offish" but was not meant in that way!

It was an instant reaction to hearing you say she'd called the cops on you - silly cow! You know how it is :rotfl::rotfl:

Change of subjects me thinks - thanks again :T
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o

Don't know if this link will work, but its a picture of dad in his younger days.

He was a very attractive man Di. What a shame he's so ill when still relatively young.

    Thank you pixiechick.;)

Yes that is right, the pic with both mum and dad together was when the illness of dementia first struck him down.
