We live in a small street of just 17 houses, and we have tall trees in front.
The Autumn time is a nuisance though isn't it?
Wet slippery leaves everywhere......:eek:, gone on my bum loads of times.....:o;).The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
It is supposed to have rained here in the night but i didn't hear anything. And it is hot again. I dont mind.
What a lovely day. I have a busy day tomorrow!
At lunch today, i sat by a man from Glasgow he speaks with a lovely accent. I wonder if that is how Nid sounds?
This Braw Lads march sounds rather grand!
Jinny can you take your son and move into a friend's house for a couple of days or is that too difficult?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Thanks SW the old ladys nephew has knocked to say how sorry they are for the ladys actions. He thinks she may have to go into hospital to get checked out they are taking her to the GP tommorrow and someone is going to stay with her tonight. She had a fall a few months back and this may have induced a trauma episode in her. Felt sorry for them they hadnt realised how bad it had become we have exchanged phone numbers in case of further incidents. In love and light:A”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

Year's ago I read 'As You Like It' by Mr Shakespeare. Our headmistress made us memorise this poem, I can only remember bits but it made me cry even then aged 11. It reminds me of your poor neighbour.
"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin'd,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav'd, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything." — Jaques (Act II, Scene VII, lines 139-166)Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
