Thanks, it was quiet last night i think she is staying with someone at night then comes home in the morning. A young woman turns up and sits with her during the day. it will take me a few nights to get into my sleep pattern again but hey ho at least the poor woman seems to be getting help at last.

hi all i know its stupid oclock but havent been getting much sleep for the last month really my sleep pattern has gone haywire. Ive had my sleep disturbed with an elderly neighbour. She has developed dementia and it has become worse in the last week or two. Im absolutley shattered as she has been convinced i am doing stuff to wake her up during the night, along with other wild accusations. She has been banging on my door in the early hours. I actually fell asleep at work  her relatives have been tracked down and so they have been more involved with her. Its been a nightmare but hopefully she will now get the help she needs. I know its unlikely that any of her family would see this but you never know so i wont say much more about it. So.... ive been up catching up with you all at Anns new house on MSE! Hope you are all ok I will get back to normal soon and post a bit more. love to you all, your shattered friend Jinny x

I'd be reporting her for harassing behaviour and have her taken to a home or into care! If she is behaving in such a way that it affects you to make you fall asleep at work, then you need to nip it in the bud like yesterday!

You actually have more rights than she does, cos she is trespassing on your property - not vice versa ;);)

thanks nid she has sent the police round to me a few times so they have warned the family to get it sorted some of the accusations are quite serious. So you are right it is harrassement even though she has quite clearly gone lady gaga. i have told the cops who at first were quite intimidating to me that they wont get an answer at my door on this matter again. As i say I wont give too much detail as you never know who gets on here.

If I was you i'd name and shame the baddy old cow! Sorry but people like that do my head in, moreso their families for not taking stock of the situation and dealing with it or helping her.

Morning Pixie yes I was puzzled where we had moved too as well. It is better tho as we can talk about stuff that is not always on topic EUs athough thats always interesting as well. What i like about this great thread is the fact I havent posted for a couple of days but when you do peeps arent offended and are glad to hear from you again. I use that as a mark of decent peeps. I have friends i havent seen in months/years but when you see them again its like it was yesterday. Thats true friendship.

Good Morning All, Jinny sorry to hear about your situation, keep in the back of your mind she is ill and hopefully her family will make it better soon, its unfortunate when someone deteriates so quickly and for family its hard to admit its happening to someone you know.

thanks jen i have a son with severe mental heath probs so have a lot on my plate as well and i am very sympathetic and used to very odd behaviour. That said the family have been aware what i am having to deal for some time none of them have not knocked on my door to at least sympathise with me and assure me that they are dealing with the situation. It has taken the police who have enough to do to warn them that they will deal with it if they wont. No body including me wants the woman carted off against her will
cos thats what happens and its very distressing indeed i had this with my son years ago it is horrible for them and the family.
