Have just had a very funny phone call - about 15 minutes ago!

I didn't answer it but let the machine pick it up. They didn't leave a message but there was about 2 minutes of absolute gibberish, as if someone was trying to leave a message but couldn't speak properly! It showed "number unavailable" - don't think it was the usual suspects (CCs or DCAs) as I know all their numbers and they don't usually ring after 8:30. Am quite intrigued by this - don't think it is anyone I know, either!

Wonder if anyone has had anything like that happen to them?

It is very quiet on here and I am quite tired so am off to bed in a minute.

Have been invited to a barbecue on Sunday afternoon - not at all football related - so that will be nice. And it is within walking distance!

    Night, night everyone.

    Sweet dreams!

    That's really lovely, Nanna.

You must be really proud of them

    That's cheered me up, Nanna!

Don't know why I am getting stressed out about it - they can't do anything down the phone - whoever "they" are!!

I think it was some idiot trying to frighten people. It is usually a spotty, drunk kid who has no friends and their idea of a good time is to get drunk and then ring people at random and wait for a reaction. Please don't worry Ann. Think happy thoughts about your holiday.

    Goodnight all. 00020472.gif

Bless you Nanna. I do get cross when people do this they have no idea of how they might frighten people. Nanna will hit them with her pole Ann so sleep safe.

AAh, that is really sweet, Pixie!

Incidentally, was the school you looked at any good?

    Yes it looked really nice.

I've ended up babysitting and by the time I've sorted out granddaughter (she woke up 2 minutes after they'd gone) and finally worked out how to connect the laptop to the internet everyone's gone!!
