I do hope you do get to see him. I am sure it will make all the difference to you - and your dad, too, of course.

All this talk and jokes of football seems somewhat frivolous by comparison - but we do need a bit of comic relief!

The sun has gone in now, but it is still steaming hot!

Have started to watch the tennis but they are showing the women's singles, which I don't think is so interesting - from a tennis point of view, nothing else!

And the red button option is - FOOTBALL!!!

Yey! Just had a call from eldest daughter* - she's coming over to see us tonight so its an excuse to go to the pub! That does mean no pub for me this avo (i'm a lightweight) or i'll be wasted by the time she comes!

Mr & Mrs Niddy are happy bunnies now :D:D

*(she's a final year law student and lives in town so we don't see her as much as we'd like)

Bet you're really looking forward to seeing her. You must be proud of her - law is not an easy option for a degree but very good future prospects. In this uncertain economic climate, there will always be a need for lawyers - which I am sure you know only too well!
