    After popping out for a bit, I arrive home to find that the thread has been taken over by football!!!

    Love the joke, though Fitzer!

    Wonder how many on here want it to come true, though?

    Ann

    In response to your recent PM - my replies in blue :D:D

    * You'll notice that as you've already sent the templates necessary, a lot of what you'll do now is ignore them. That is because we're almost through now Ann - nice as it's been, we're almost finished with your debts so really, as you knew from outset, this will be a vicious circle of silly letters coming and you just have to learn to ignore them - after a year or so they will stop writing altogether...

    The end is nigh....... :cool::cool:

    Identical letter to that received last week relating my Barclaycard Visa, but I think this time it relates to my BC Mastercard. Again it has the wrong account number – the amounts relate to my Mastercard, though! The account number does not relate to any other of my BC accounts, either! These people are unbelievable – amazing that an outfit like Barclays uses someone so incompetent!

    Just ignore them for the time being......

    A default notice relating to my BC Morgan Stanley card. This is the one for which they sent the someone else’s details – nothing from them since then! It has the correct account number on it!

    Similarly, they are in default of your s.78 so ignore them until they actually do respond!

    A termination notice – saying that they will pass my account to their Debt Recovery Office and that they are reporting me to CRAs.

    Aaaaw, di-dums! They are so scary! Just ignore them Ann.

    Default notice telling me that if I do not pay up within 28 days they may sell the account to a DCA, who will use door-to-door collectors.

    As above, bet you're shaking with fear? :rotfl: Ignore them!

    Saying that my complaint is being dealt with. – they’d already told me that!

    LOL, its laughable really but they do have to keep you informed of progress so just sit tight and see what they send back!

    Thanks Niddy,

    I did think the correct response would be to ignore them but feel better now it has been confirmed by you!

    Mornin Ann, At all costs (you can afford it now!!) you MUST keep this thread going! It's been a lifeline for a lot of people and I, and I assume a lot of others, would never have met the wonderful NID without first reading your thread. And I've also met a lot of wonderful people. I'd love to meet up with yis all at some stage.
