Goodnight campers sorry i missed all of you this evening that ruddy summer cold has got me bunged up and making me very sleepy but hey ho it will be gone soon.
There was a big punch up outside the pub near here last night cops were everwhere i had a ringside seat from my window. Think peeps had way to much to drink and with the heat and the footie it got out of hand alright. it spoils the image of the real fans anyhoo sleep well everyone talk soon

Hiya Pet - yes, they all went off to bed early tonight and you have missed them

Hope you're not near enough to the pub to be at risk - flying bottles and all that?????

Sorry you're still all bunged up - are you sure it's not hayfever? - there's a lot more affected by it this year

    That sounds really nice!

I am having salad and fruit - trying to get some weight off!

Not sure what is happening in the football but the tennis is quite good at the moment, so perhaps everyone is watching that!

Have a look at this website Ann, I've lost over 3 1/2 stone since being on there. Great support.
Well a fantastic match must be on as it is silent on my street!!!

Only 2 and a bit weeks till the hols for both of us. You will escape from neighbours and can have fun with grand dog!! And i am moving into Portsmouth for a month and i shall be keeping busy walking, having fun, going on day trips and most importantly, eating!!! It will be glorious - the best reason for being a teacher!!!

Only reason to be a teacher surely SW

Hello my lovely friends, hope you've all had a wonderful day.

The sun have been out for most of the afternoon, did get a little cloudy in between too, and rather breezy but nice.;)

Dad is rather poorly at the unit today, they think he is also at the worse stages of his COPD (Chest & lung) problems.

He is very sleepy again, but I put that down to all the meds he has to take and the extra antibiotics as well, they did manage to persuade him to eat, yet is drinking plenty of fluids.

They advised against visiting today though, so its really sad as well.
I was informed of the above on the phone.

Sorry to hear about your dad Di. I had a rather odd family and was brought up by 4 adults so I've done the looking after the elderly thing a few times and my uncle who died 18 months ago was the hardest he had COPD and demntia. I used to get 40 odd phonecalls some evenings, he'd keep forgetting he'd called me. Or he'd phone for a chat at 3am. I can't say I was the most sympathetic towards him as he really pulled me down. So hat's off to you Di, you're doing a great job in difficult circs.

Pixie, good luck with the application, hows the dating going?

Being back at work makes it harder to keep up. but I'll keep lurking, off for me porridge now
    Have a good day all

    Good morning everyone.

Didn't get to bed when I said I was going, it was more like 1 am and then I couldn't get to sleep, so I'm absolutely cream-crackered now!!

moneypenny - I'm not dating, I just pulled/got off with/whatever the term is these days someone last Friday night. He got a bit miffed that I wouldn't let him come home with me (just as well as I was far too ill!!!) I don't usually go out, can't afford to, so I won't see him around but I'm hoping that he'll be out for the England game on Sunday :)

Must finish this application so I can hand it in this morning, then go and look around another school to see if I want to apply there.
