Son is doing fine thanks, its a week since his operation and he gets the biopsy results in a few days, then we will know what we are dealing with regarding the Cancer. Thanks for asking.

Elsie I know nothing can be said to ease your worry but as a world traveller I want you to know your son is in the BEST of hands being in the UK, I developed an early onset breast cancer and if it wasn't for being in the UK it wouldn't have been caught and treated to the utmost best that they could.

Typical me, I missed the party

Nobody even saved me a pringle

    Sorry Moneypenny,

The move took place somewhat quicker than we anticipated!

    Hi Elsie,

I am really sorry but I don't think I picked up on the fact that your son has this issue to deal with. Apologies if I seemed insensitive about it - and wishing you (and him, of course) all the very best for a positive outcome.

    Hi Niddy,

    Another early bird!

We did try to save some for you, honestly!

At least we only have virtual hangovers this morning - what about you, have you got a "real" one? Oh, have just remembered - you don't "do hangovers"!

    Good morning all,

Seems like we missed one heck of a party last night. Typical......Where was our invite for the Geezers and Gals.??:naughty::naughty:

    Sorry about the invite, Elsie!

If I had put my brain into gear I woud have posted an invitation on the "old" thread. Will make sure that the invitations go out properly for our next party - embossed, stiff card (virtual, of course!) no less!

    Morning everyone,

A very grey morning here - trying to rain at the moment, and don't think it will be very long before it succeeds!

Have a lot of garden rubbish to take to the tip (sorr, Recycling Centre as it has now been renamed!). A job I hate but at least I can tick if off my "to do" list when I get back!

A lot of our friends were a bit miffed because they weren't invited to our party last night - apologies to all of them, it wasn't intentional. honestly! We love you all!

Perhaps we should have a "not the World Cup party" when England are playing. But, I am out for the day on Saturday and don't expect to be back until very late - so perhaps we can have one when England next play, whenever that is. I suspect we may have to have it very soon, as I think that England are not expected to survive for long! Apologies in advance to all England/football fans - are these two concepts mutually exclusive?

    Hi mouseann

Please don't apologise. I think SW picked up on it when she visited our thread, 'cos obviously the girls on there know what has been happening. I have kept it very quiet at work, so at least when I am busy there I can at least push it to the back of my mind. And if I have to have a bit of a moan or a worry moment, the the girls on Geezers and Gals help me out.!! We are hoping for a very positive outcome, and son himself is really upbeat about the whole thing, which I really admire him for. It really puts the money worries on another level.
