Lost money on tickets on ebay

Assuming you are going to send them, if time allows I would delay sending for a couple of days as I have had trouble selling tickets before with Paypal withholding the payment whilst investigating the buyer - trouble is they don't tell you straight away so you can be caught out.
I resold them on Get Me In (part of Ticketmaster) and the money was credited to my Paypal account without having to pay any fees, so I got the full amount I sold them for (it's all fixed price with free listing). Seatwave do the same thing, but their fees are higher. After this experience, I would never sell tickets on eBay again!
Out of interest, they are not for the Leona Lewis tour are they? I heard that ticket prices have plummeted for her tour - not sure why?0 -
Not awfully useful advice though is it? Seller then loses his original listing and FVFs, gets a neg on original account and if buyer is still in the market for the tickets could well be spotted as the same seller and auction wrecked. The OP even on a different account (and many of us do have more than one selling account) still has all the same details. Who's to say they will go for any more the second time, especially on a lesser used iD, the OP would either have to spend more on listing fees or gamble again on a low start.
.
I didnt say it was a good advice, it was just a suggestion as the seller stated she didnt want to lose out on the £34 odd, she could relist them buy it now for what she wants them for or start them at the lowest she/he will take.
As for losing out on the FVF it depends how much they sold for, is losing out on the FVF worse or better than the £34 odd and as for the negative, there are always lots of users on here saying one negative doesnt hurt your account!!
It was only a suggestion and not one that I would do myself. the OP wanted to know what her options where and im sure there are many sellers who do that when an item doesnt get to what they want, ive had sellers back out of a sale on me when an items not gone to what its worth and ive noticed it relisted on another account in the same area it does happen, I wouldnt be surprised if others on this board hadnt done it!
I personally think the op shold just send the tickets and take hte loss, they should have started at what they wanted for! its there own fault.0
