  • yeah most weekenders wouldnt notice it was an 882!but i think that this thread will be noticed by argos HO and a message sent to all stores to not allow 882s to be purchased alone/without caution

Apparently argos employees have been told not to post here anymore :P

Haha. Got 2 this morning in the Newtownabbey store in Northern Ireland. Went back 10 minutes later to get a computer desk and another 3 and the girl caught it on as she was signing the receipt - that'll teach me to be greedy. Didn't have to give the first two back though.

Hi hope this works, it did for us

you buy something cheap in argos and reserve it on line first, then u go to the quick pay machine and put the mp3 player number in and reseve that, ( it will only let you order one at a time, even though there might be more in stock)

then u use your reservation number, for the item ordered, after that you can use the mp3 player code again,

finlally just pay for the one item, as the mp3 player will show as 0.00 it will print off receipt and jest collect.

we also used quick pay machine in store as well as reserving, hope this works
