I'm sure that was really decent of him - but why did he feel the need to leave you a neg in the first place?
I get so annoyed when I see that in people's feedback.
If something doesn't turn up check with the seller that they have posted it, tell them it hasn't arrived and get them to either claim from the post office or send you the receipts so that you can do it yourself.
It is NOT NOT NOT the seller's fault if things go missing in the post, you shouldn't neg them for it!
Before anyone jumps on me, I'm not saying its not their responsibility to do something about it when they do know but blimey, give them a chance.0 -
Do you think the buyer is reading this?fridayschild wrote: »I'm sure that was really decent of him - but why did he feel the need to leave you a neg in the first place?

OK, blue-in-the-face time: the buyer is not the customer of the postal service; the sender is and it up to the sender to claim.
Sellers should refund the buyer and then claim from the postal service, NOT expect the buyer to!
Why don't sellers realise this? Gives eBay a bad name! They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Actually, either party can claim. But I agree, the sender should always do it.0
