has anyone out there not had the cancellation email?
I originally ordered on Tuesday afternoon at 1.55pm, have any orders survived before/after this time.
Mine was cancelled on Friday night....the north will rise again...0 -

After sending them an email asking them to re-instate my order, am very dissapointed etc, just been sent this:Thank you for your email.
Please accept my apologies, we can not obtain anymore stock from the supplier and this is why this item has been cancelled. Sorry for any upset caused.

and yet it is also listed on pricerunner.co.uk that tesco is selling it for under a tenner.what is the plural of moose?

Just got this from Tesco CS
Them - I would like to advise that any order placed on our website, is simply an offer from a customer to buy goods from us. No actual contract exists until the goods are despatched.
Me - "Thats fare enough, I understand Contract law, a simple apology would have been acceptable, but to say that no more stock can be obtained from supplier, when it is one of the best selling games, is a little hard to believe. Customers want the truth and not to be lied too, it insults our intelligence"
Them - Therefore, we are not obliged to accept such an offer until this time, and can decline to supply these goods without necessarily providing a reason
I trust this has clarified the matter for you.
Me - "The only thing that has been clarified, well, more confirmed than clarified is your poor communication and customer relations"

I ordered on 3rd February after midnight sometime and my order still seems to be valid, I received the confirmation of order e-mail, I haven’t had a cancellation e-mail and when I log into the Tesco’s website my order is still ‘live’ and I can see the £8.72 price for the game. The money has been ‘on hold’ from my account, I paid by debit card to see if the money would be taken or not. It is strange because last week it was ‘on hold’ for a few days and then the hold seemed to have been lifted and I thought they were going to cancel the order because the money was back in my account yet today it seems to be ‘on hold’ again! :rolleyes:
I will keep you all informed of any changes.

Unfortunately, having reduced the price of the item to £8.72 our stock was sold out quicker than predicted. As a result of this, stock has been exhausted at our suppliers, and we are unable to establish when more stock will be available.
The price has now defaulted to the original RRP, and I am sorry, but we are unable to fulfil your order at the advertised price.
Please note that no contract is entered into until the goods are despatched.
However, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
