I would complain like hell to Tesco's. I bet they can supply them at the higher price! Why don't these companies come clean and say it was a miss price rather than trying to mislead people. In my experience if you complain long enough and hard enough they will at least compensate you even if they will not supply the goods. Last time I similarly complained to Tesco's I got £20 in vouchers, although it did take a good 5 weeks to reach this resolution.

Sounds very much like what happened with the GameCube itself before Christmas, i guess we can safely say Tesco will be starting the year as they ended the last, on Watchdog

My order states that it is on order and estimated delivery is 13/02/05.
I have received no cancellation email.
I ordered before 12.30 am on the 2nd.
Perhaps early orders are progressing.
I genuinely thought this was a reduction, as the game is "getting on a bit" now. Also the Index stores cleared some out at around the same price, a month ago!

I placed 2 orders, one on 1/2/05, 920pm. This is showing estimated delivery 12/2/05. The other was placed 2/2/05, 1040am, estimated delivery 13/2/05. Both show discounted price. Also got confirmation of order email for each one. No cancellation email....yet! Sorry didn't get screen print of original price.

Still keeping fingers crossed- not doing my arthritis any good!

Lol! I wonder if they have kept a list of people who complained loudly about the Gamecube?

Tesco may be cross referencing to see whether they've also ordered this game. I'm sure they will soon realise that it's not even worth them considering not to honour this.

It may be that there were only a few available in stock at the time of ordering though, so that's why the early orders don't seem to have been cancelled?

yes my mistake the order does show the 8.72 price and 1.64 delivery

I ordered this early on 1st Feb - had confirmation em, have just received em from them saying they cannot obtain stock, two very disappointed little boys here!
Why did they take three days to cancel a confirmed order??? Not fair is it !
