I also dared to look at our mortgage position as we are due to change it next October 2011 and I was concerned about negative equity. Even if house prices don't rise, we will have 10% equity by next October and the affordability based on our credit repayments (which hopefully will gradually reduce over the next 14 months) looks good - so mild (extreme) panic over on that score as well :j
