Oh, and sorry DDFW, I have absolutely no idea about the fabric pens, I've actually never done it!
Good luck though! :T
(sorry, got a bit carried away with the whole dragon thing - don't know why I even referred to them as frogs in the first place as I posted somewhere else the other day how I didn't like the phrase :rotfl: :rotfl:)0 -
Morning Cheery, a lovely one here. I know what you mean about frogs, I like them too. Toads are a little more ugly so I used that word when referring to the horrible thing to do, but for me it would be s***s (the slimey things with no shell that I cannot even say the name of aaarrrrggghhhhh).
I love dragons, I am a dragon sign in chinese astrology and when I found that out I was so pleased because ever since I was a little girl I have loved dragons. I think that I like all the folklore about them. Completely get the climbing the hill to ask them to keep the noise down, love the pictures that conjures up in my mind. You with your yellow wellies, red headscarf and sparkly top trudging up the hill and knocking on the door
Hope you have a less challenging day today. Even though I doubt that as you seem to thrive on little challlenges.
ETA - I meant to ask if you have seen this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3191538 you might be interested given all of the gardening that your are doing at the moment. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Glad I'm not the only one Cheri
:rotfl: I couldn't bring myself to think of eating dragons either - hence the asking them nicely to be quiet
Although I'm thinking Mr Daffs' idea of 'a worthy opponent' is a good one too - as long as I'm not being specific about it, the idea of squaring my shoulders is much more satisfying than eating a poor defenceless little frog
Anyway, today will bring breakfast in bed, about 4 hours of work I didn't do on Thursday afternoon, some tidying, a run, maybe a bike ride, som time in the garden, some knitting, and general preparation for going back to wokr tomorrow - for one day0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: Because that about sums it up for me - I didn't want to fix the bike, not because I was scared, but because I couldn't be ar*ed climbing up the big hill and I knew the Pesky Dragon was going to be slightly petulant about it (albeit nice in the end)
Gosh, anyone would think I'd been drinking
but ... but .... I'm not pesky am I?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Actually, I more often think of Cheerful Dragons, since I apparently woke mr Daffs up one night singing a song about one :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So I work on the presumption that all dragons are cheerful, but that occasionally the noise of a Cheerful Dragon can get a little out of hand, and heading off up the giant hill to ask them to be quiet again might be alittle tedious, so if there's something you're putting off doing, it's kind of like that.
Will that do??:rotfl:
Cheri, didn't make it to lindy hop last week, the week just got a little full! But it's on every week, so I'll make it one day
Trying to squeeze in my bit of work, but pesky computer playing up - pah!0 -
to my mind the work for such demonic jobs is MASH! It's the only thing i can think off which sums up how i feel about doing the letters. I like frogs and dragons as well. I used to do lots of cross stitch and frogging was not a term of endearment as it meant you were unpicking loads of work, ie rip it, rip it.0

Ooh I didn't know that! I do that a lot
