:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Gosh that is a frightening thought you all standing behind me! :rotfl: :rotfl: I'd spend a lot less time messing around in here - perhaps it's a good strategy?! :rotfl:

Have tea and marmitey toast :D

And I wouldn't worry about Mr Daffs - he's downstairs in the kitchen with his mate (who plays the harp) writing a pop song apparently :rotfl: :rotfl: I suspect I'm surplus to requirements in that particular task :rotfl: :rotfl:

    GOOD LUCK! :D:D:D:D:D

Just got back from a training weekend with TA... am currently slowly defrosting by the fire!

Will keep reading... Hope Mr Daffs has a productive evening songwriting too! :rotfl:

All kinds Pickle, he is official Rock Star :D :rotfl: Plays guitar, bass, sings, and mingles along on whatever else is around, piano, ukelele, drums, flute, etc etc. Doesn't do classical stuff at all, plays in a ceilidh band, and an a capella harmony folk thing, and a folk rock band, and a badn that plays improvised music to abstract films, and all kinds of other things, and writes pop songs, and psychedelic soul funk songs, and songs about ghosts and lovers and cliffs :D

(do you ever reveal what you play, by the way? I've heard you say your practicing, but just 'your instrument' - very intruiging!

Mr Daffs sounds great! By the way, my best mate is getting married summer 2012 and wants a ceilidh...is Mr Daffs available for hire? Feel free to ignore this until you're less busy as it's a way off! It would most likely be in the West Midlands area, although they're looking at a venue (tithe barn) in Cheltenham at the moment.

Sounds good. Would give an arm, leg and other appendage of choice to be able to sing, but that's never going to happen.

As for my instrument...put it this way, I'd fit right in in that ceildh band! ;)

    I see :D

Yep, Mr Daffs does weddings etc - usually a little closer than that, but depends on the price! :D Will PM you soon - remind me if I forget! :D

    yawn yawn yawn

Conclusions finished, abstract finished, introduction finished, acknowledgements changed (although if they think I'm thanking my examiner for his useful comments they've got another think coming :rotfl:), list of appendices half started then given up when Mr Daffs called me downstairs for a risotto :D :j :j

    What's left now??

    * Finishing sorting out appendices,
    * check figures and add new ones,
    * sort out contents page numbers,
    * write that damn email saying what I've done,
    * toddle off to the library to print the conclusions (via sainsbury's for milk and change for the printing machine thing)

Then just find something to wear for work tomorrow, wash my hair so I don't have to do it at stupid-o-clock in the morning, then get to bed at some kind of sensible hour! :j :j :j

I'm going to put the CD on - it runs for an hour and once it finishes I want to be shoes on, ready to go out of the door to the library.

    Ready, steady, GO! :j :j
