Great 'Cheap Stag/Hen Do' Hunt

I had an incredibly cheap stag do when I got married. I didn't bother. There's nothing I could plan to do on a stag do that I wouldn't already do if aI wanted to on any other occasion. And the fact for me was that I was getting married so was looking forward to the day. I fail to see the point of stag dos and generally don't bother attending if invited.

I organised a mates stag do recently where we spent the afternoon playing TopGolf in Chigwell Essex, a cool 2 tier golf range with massive electronic targets to aim at at score points, kinda like bowling but golf. I had never played golf before and thouroughly enjoyed the day as did the whole group. They have some great drinks deals and were installing a ridiculously big screen for the world cup, we are in fact going to watch the England Algeria game there on Friday. Everyone agreed it was the most unique stag do yet!!

For mine we went geocaching in the Lake District ( http://www.geocaching.com ), great fun. Then had a night out in Carlisle, Very straightforward and cheap(ish)

check out the mini cruises from Newcastle and Hull. Very cheap and good fun. Also you sometimes find vouchers 2 for 1 on these. Cheap train tickets from trainline if booked early

For my friends hen do, her maid of honour turned into a superstar.
She has organised a huge buffet/bbq during the day, to which the groom and the other men are invited, but she has also included children. Its set to be a nice relaxed day!
She has asked everyone to donate a fiver towards food, and bring their own booze.

I look at the agency package prices and it pains me because MSEs should be able to find all of the parts at a better price - IF they are willing to shop around and do the work themselves.
