Anyone have anything good to say about DFS?

We've gone ahead and purchased a couple of sofas from one of DFS's never-ending sales - but I've read nothing but bad reviews about their service and quality of furniture.
However, it seemed like a reasonable deal compared to what else is on the market, and there don't seem to be any furniture dealers that don't have negative reviews to be honest!!
Does anyone have any positive feedback on DFS to share? (I'm hoping the answer doesn't just come back "no"!) :rotfl:

The positive thing for me about DFS adverts is that I plan to keep the sofas I have for a lot longer time." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Done me ok. Got a good price on our three and single seater, plus free foot-rest. Quick delivery and a quick warranty repair when one of the arms collapsed after one of the kids 'rested' on it!:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. They do a lot for actors of a smaller stature. Their TV ads use small people to make their sofas look bigger than they actually are.0

So that's why there are so many kids and women?!:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Our sofas were from DFS, had them for 18 months now with no problems. We shopped around and thought the price was ok. Delivery was within the given time scales. Not much more we could ask for! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

Completely agree with this! We saw a leather 3 piece on one of their tv adverts and went to check it out. It was very, very small, but yet looked HUUUUUGE on TV!!
We didn't get that one, but noticed another we liked. Apparenlt it is one of their best sellers and doesn't get reduced. We did a bit of haggling and eventually decided on that one.
8 years on and it is still looking good. I guess you get what you pay for.0 -
I bought a DFS sofa 3 years ago, leather, it still looks like new. Will probably get my next one from them as we've just completely decorated and carpeted the second living room. No problems whatsoever. HTH x0
