This brings back memories from a CokeZone comp, I won a Samsung Tocco phone but an Apple TV gadget arrived I rang them and a few days later received the phone and a lovely letter, that read.

No doubt when you found out that you won a phone, you would have been a tad surprised to receive an AppleTv, we messed up and are sorry, please find enclosed the prize you should have received and as it was our mistake, the Apple Tv is yours to keep too :T:T:T

Spoke to mccains earlier, i started the conco with the opening line of "hi, if i say ping and win and camera youll know what the call is about" seemed to make her laugh a bit. was expecting a weary tired annoyed"omg another one" type of voice. anyway all sorted details took and courier on the way in a few days"ish".

I rang yesterday over my camera win, I was told a courier would bring me a new camera and pick up my refurb one

I asked while I was on the phone if they would do the same for my dd, they said she had to ring herself .. boo

before my dd had chance to ring them, Mccains have rung her, only now they are sending out a prepaid envelope for the refurb camera and a courier with a new one

gotta say full marks to Mccain for sorting this one out :j

Oh so pleased you are all having such luck sorting this out. I am having a nightmare with mccains.
After my dad missed their call on Friday 28th MAY ( He won on May 1st), we cant get anyone to call us back to verify his details. He called last week and was told, "sorry we have to call you etc" but guy is out.. then yesterday my dad called and spoke to a guy Mike, who said they had had loads of fraud with this comp etc, and said he would check my dad on his spredsheet, (has over 500 names on it) and 10 mins later came back and said he could not find him on his spreadsheet. !!!!!!!!!
he then says I will have a proper look and call you back, which he has not done since the call yesterday at 2pm.
Its so annoying, as my dad is a very busy man, always in meetings etc, and just does not have time for this, and cause Im a girl and dont have his mobile I cant sort it for him, so have told my dad he has to sort it...
I am worried if he dont sort it he wont get his camera... as these people never call back.. same is happening with the McVities comp...

Sorry for Rant,just so peeved with it all..
