  • I, too, have been up early listening to everyone else sleeping away and enjoying the peace and quiet!

Busy day today so just doing myself a list, and trying to sort a logical order of what we need to do. First load is in the WM and I feel a WM marathon challenge today as weather looking good for drying outside.

I've nearly found my floor in here and will have by the end of the day - its all sorted but needs putting away IYKWIM.

    WM x a lot!
    Cut grass
    Allotment trip
    Recycling out
    Find floor - ongoing
    Odds & ends errands

See you all later, 'tis time to make some noise and get lazy folks out of bed...;)

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning all

Well, another busy day at Soappie Towers. I have some leaflets to deliver, some emails to answer and some writing to do (including a risk assessment for the fair - ugh!). Hopefully things will settle down after the middle of July!

Hello everyone, well I'm not going to update my list as nothing got done Thursday or Friday, (clearly not a Stepford wife!) and my lists for OH got lovingly ignored :(.

Yesterdays done list goes as follows:
    house plants watered
    clothes washed
    washing pegged out
opticians appointments completed - there for 2 hours and no new glasses needed for either of us
    cheque paid in
    HHC
    3Hours of gardening
    menu planned
    shopping list made

    To do today:

big shop - to be delegated I think, I CBA with supermarket on a Sunday, too busy!
    ironing
    washing up
    drying up
    S&S kitchen
    clean kitchen floor
hotspots - I swear I seem to do some of these everyday and they have hidden magnets
another couple of HHCs in bedrooms

I have 2 weeks until a friend is coming to stay and need to shake off this CHAOS. Thankfully the downstairs needs much less attention, thanks to the support of the flylady thread. Pity I seem to fall off the wagon when it comes to the dreaded bedrooms.

Have skimmed the thread and lots of people seem to be in need of hugs this week so hugs and thoughts to everyone who needs them.

Oh and PenPen, just so you know I like the chattiness on here, it's what attracted me to join in, and why I lurked for a while before that. If this thread just consisted of lists of flying it would not provide the support that's sometimes needed, the background to peoples lives helps to show that though everyone's a wonderful person, we can't all do everything all of the time (and reminds me I don't have to try to be superwoman). Plus if it was just lists I'd probably only read the first page. Well, that's my two pennies worth in, off to put my brekkie things away.

Ooh sun appears to be coming out, dare I put WM on to dry washing outside, despite the forecast for rain all day?

    Morning!

I've been up for ages (thanks to DS2), but other than drinking tea and catching up with all things internet, have not achieved anything yet.
It's dull and drizzly here (and I forgot to cover our garden bench last night, because the forecast was good ), so the TD will be in action soon.
Off now to grab breakfast and start being busy.

As far as the accusation of being too chatty goes, friendly conversation and mutual support have to be better than the sarcasm, insults and general unpleasantness in many other places. I've certainly learned lots since I've been on here. Just need to put it into practice now. :o On that note, I'd best be off.

Soappie, don't forget the risk of cables being nicked, especially if you have traders staying overnight...
The long running saga of our replacement windows has been delayed by some lowlifes nicking the cables that connect the generator to the cradle that goes up and down our tower block.

So I'm still flying but in a dot to dot way, between the stuff that has been moved so the stuff by the windows can go into its place when the engineers can get back to work. I did declutter some stuff at the Bar Boot yesterday, stuff that 's been in boxes for several years.:D

This week's lists all finished :D.

OH invited some mates over for the match, so we cracked on and got all the lists finshed before they arrived.
So much for getting the twins back into their routine ready for school tomorrow. I think it was about half twelve before they went to bed. I had better go and get them up or they won't want to go to bed tonight.

Going to declutter several cups of tea and then make an effort to get things ready for school tomorrow. I brought my talking partners stuff home two weeks ago to sort out and plan. It has stayed in the downstairs cupboard ever since :o

Got the big cupboard and one drawer to sort out today, but thats mostly DP's junk so he WILL be helping me!!!
