Washing up done (mostly wine glasses) and breakfast made. Need to go to the post office for cash and to post some letters, and deal with the bins. CBA to do more before I head off.

I cook mine first; it's thought that what washes out is what causes wind ......... which thought segues nicely to ............cyclingyorkie wrote: »Morning to all stepford flyladies

Well done; I've thanked you :T:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all
A mixed day here today. Not very warm yet, but not too bad, either. Might rain later, though.
I've been out for a few bits, found a new window cleaner (haven't had one in ages, as the old one was too expensive), as he was working across the road and then sorted breakfast. Next is a bit of flying, then DS2 and I will go to the butcher's (using vouchers DH has won :money:). I might also go into town. Parking is free on a Saturday and I have some vouchers I can use at Iceland. Or we can do that tomorrow. Not sure yet.
I hope everyone has a good day. x
ETA Just realised that I won £10 in last Saturday's lotto. I could get something I need from town and if I time it right, DH might buy me a coffee. :j:D:j And I can pay in the small refund I got from Parker's for the poor quality of some of the herb plants I received. Things are definitely looking up. Best text DH now so we can be in town when he's on his lunch break.0 -
OK what happened to summer??? It's cloudy and chilly and trying to rain.
Running around like a headless chicken - why am I making a drama out of going away for one night to have a happy evening with friends and celebrate their anniversary???
Of course the icing on the cake was getting a phone call from some idiot female trying to tell me her company had detected a problem with my computer which they were happy to repair :mad::mad::mad:
Actually that was the sprinkles - the icing was earlier when I tried to do a quick supermarket shop at 8.30 - only two tills open and people at both doing the 'big shop'. For the first time in my life I put down my basket and walked out.
And breathe:rotfl:
Hope you all have a good weekend.0 -
