Gods know how I'm going to do today's list.... I can barely move in the [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] spare room.
The furniture in there comprises 3 bookcases, 1 video/DVD cabinet, 1 writing desk, 1 CoD, 1 wardrobe and a large wooden trunk. No problem there....
There's also, however, 1 crate containing all the membership stuff for an organisation I belong to, 1 crate of candlemaking gear, 1 crate of Dungeons & Dragons gear, including painting materials for doing the figures, a cool-box, a steam cleaner, the Dyson and the little hand-held vacuum, which live in there when not in use.... still no problem....
Add to that 2 crates full of HM jam, 1 crate of spare cleaning materials because there was a special offer on and I got them at 30% off, and a large carrier bag of baking supplies that won't fit in the kitchen.... getting a bit crowded now....
The crowning glory: 2 large suitcases and a cardboard box for food supplies for our 1st ever self-catering holiday.:D

Well, I shall just have to do what I can manage, and if Piggers chucks a mule at me, then so be it!:D

    Hi all :)

Busy last 2 days with conference/meetings/kids stuff on so haven't done very much. Only thing I've managed is feeding everyone and a washer load each day. Suppose it's better than nothing.

Feeling very tired today, got a parcel due or I'd have been tempted to go back to bed. I think I need to concentrate on clearing the decks today, hopefully DP will shift his car stuff out of the living room when he gets up. He knows he'll only get away with it in here as I have been so busy.

Off to get some coffee and empty the dishwasher, hope you all have a great day
One day I might be more organised...........

LOL I'll pass with regards to Flybabies, ta muchly..... I'm a bit too long in the tooth for that, methinks.

But yes, it IS all necessary stuff, and it's all tidy in its crates, and I can immediately lay hands on any item I want; and it means it's kept in a barely-used room, rather than cluttering up the lounge and kitchen.:o It's just the suitcases that are a bit of a bind, but we're off on our travels next Friday, so the idea is that when I wash something that's wanted on the holiday, it gets put in the case instead of the wardrobe, iyswim.

I have an Excel list, and tick things off as they get packed. LOL you'd think we were going up the Amazon for 3 months, not up the M1 for one week!:D
