Hairspray got red felt-tip off our leather sofa a few years ago. DS2 was maybe 3 at the time. He told me cheerfully that it was a car (across at least two of the three seats) when I asked him what he'd done. Should have known it was a stupid question.
Or what about WD40? Not tried and tested by me, though.
    Good luck!

I read the anti flylady thread with much amusement. I really don't give a monkeys what other people think, it works for me.

I found a great quote today which seems quite apt:

'I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet' Mahatma Gandhi

DW has been emptied and needs to eb re-filled, WM on, TD filled, emptied and folded. My weekend starts tomorrow but is at leats a three day one.
'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero
  • Bathroom done.

    Went into shops.

Got DD2's passport application Checked and Sent.
Got DD2's Oystercard application checked and sent.
Paid catalogue (with a day to spare - forgot it!)
Paid Gas & Electric bill (if the bills had been any redder they would have downed aircraft - they were in the same place as the catalogue bill)

Let slip to Mother that I am studying for a degree. Instead of the expected tirade of insults and suggestions that I'm just not as good as the nieces, she sounded positive, especially when I mentioned my successful Sunday working at the Ecology Centre, dealing with visitors without warning!

DD2 wants to know when the aliens came and took Nasty Nanny away :D (I have never said anything derogatory, but she overhears lots of telephone conversations where she can work out what is being said on the other end)

I suppose she could be impressed despite herself. But the more cynical side of me tells me that studying for a Science degree compared to the nieces' English Lit, Drama and Media Studies degrees is going to be used for bragging rights and giving her the voice of authority when it comes to conversations about techie things amongst her friends. :)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

:hello:Just flitting through to say hi to all my lovely fellow Stepford Wives!!!:D:D:D

Good day at work today, no flying apart from washing up, but am going to fly tomorrow.

My car is poorly *sad smiley* - it's all juddery - especially bad at higher speeds. I can't get it checked until 22nd, either, so fingers crossed it doesn't fail or fall apart before then.

Love and hugs, especially to Lady-Liberty, toots and diva.

I'm boogered if I know what it took off but Kim and Aggie used bread on wallpaper, like a rubber...
Biro's a pig though. A lot of solvent would attack the paint, too.

Did I mention I am going out on saturday night? Cinema then a meal or a meal then cinema. We're going dutch ;) clearly a true Yorkshireman. This is NOT a criticism BTW but, having worked with a few in the past (my first employment was with a team that had transferred from somewhere called Gomersall (nr Leeds I think)) well I have long since held that the scots canny reputation has nothing on the Tykes lol
