I remember the excitement of a first baby. I had my SiL's cot for all 3 of mine (it was made by SiL first child's godfather) and then she needed it back when she had another babe 12 years after her first. I then borrowed a friend's cot as DS3 was only a year.
I'm tired now so think I'll call it a night. Not working until the afternoon session tomorrow so hope to get some flying doen in the morning - night all.
thankfully paper 2 will encompass poems from other cultures which she is good at.
She was thrown by the fact that paper 1 was all about voting! Never have I met a child more apathetic about it!
Keep telling her that the one A level paper i thought I'd failed was the first A Level Geography paper - the whole group thought they'd failed it...with one exception. Most of us got A's and B's - except the lad who liked the first paper - he got a D.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

The bedroom does need doing so I will have a stab at it later. DH is home preparing this morning as he has an interview at lunchtime. I might wander up to the library when he goes out (probably about 11.30). Problem is I do spend more money when I'm home!!

Morning all,
Welcome to Winchelsea and Cloverfan. Cloverfan i struggle to get my eldest who's 13 to help, everytime i ask him to do anything it's not fair. If he wants to use the laptop however he has to do some jobs first.;) My 4 year old is the complete opposite and puts his toys away before his bath without even being asked most nights. He'll also muck in cleaning the animals or any other little job i give him. I don't know how long it'll last though.
Ds1 is off school today as he was sick last night all over the bathroom floor when he was in the bath. I've taken my stepchildren to school and Ds2 to nursery. He got some strawberry juice all over him just before nursery and was worried the teachers would tell him off.
I'm just going to sort my list out and then i'll be doing a HHC at 9.30 if anyone wants to join me?

Morning.. ish...
I knew first thing on Monday this week would be a pig and a half!
I have DS3 off today upchucking.. Moomin has tummyache and OH has the trots.. I am absolutely shattered.. eaten toast and made a cuppa to see if I can be revived or if I just need to go back to bed.. I am absolutely boiling!!! and I got back from school and put my jammies back on!
i've opened all the doors and windows that I can.. someone spilled ccereal in the front room and didn't clear it up so it is a bit niffy in here ... or I could just be being odd.
I am finishing Squeaks cardy today.. and I have 4 to sew up/finish off .. I thought there were only 2.. oops! ... Then I can start the lemon one..
DD1 decluttered to exam, OH declttered to interview, 4 pinks and middle blue decuttered to relevant schools... I just have 3 cats demanding attention.
So far the culmination of todays flying is. 2 cat food tins and empty milk carton in the recycling!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
