Pl ease may I join? My DH is in hospital, and since he went two and a half weeks ago my housekeeping skills seem to have deserted me, and I seem to spend my life chasing my tail. I haven't been putting things away after myself and have become incredibly untidy compared with my usual standards.

What on earth's wrong with me?!!!

I need taking in hand. HELP!!!
Hi there Winchelsea nice to "meet" you. You know, it sounds to me like you're busy worrying about your DH, which is only natural. I hope it's nothing too awful that he's in the hossy for; but please cut yourself a little slack, you're bound to be somewhat distracted.

I would have had today's list done by now...... but the postie arrived with my new external DVD drive for the netbook, so I had to have a play with that (before Mr LW gets home and gets his sticky little mitts on it :D).

I shall now go and resume today's flying, before Piggers slings a mule at me for being a lazy lupine.:rotfl:

((((HUGS)))), posi-vibes and get well wishes as needed.

Crikey and you're not booked in anywhere, I can see a nee narr flashing light van coming for you if Squeak decides to make a quick getaway...

I'm not with Sky, its our local monopoly that we all have to have here if its not on a dongle...they rang back and are now coming on a home visit...if I'm not in (have to wait all day, they will not give a time) they'll charge me £75  so there's a days leave wasted!!

Trying to pull myself together for a bit and get some work work done. Also need to get some things packed.

OK i have had a phone call making sure I'll be attending the jobcenter tomorrow :(, had a phone call regarding the online CV and interview techniques course, rang up and left a message about volunteering for admin work at my local hospital, and emailed off about volunteering for admin work at Cruse bereavement services. And come to the realisation that I have absolutely no idea how long I'm going to be out of work for :(

Other than that, I've decluttered lunch, decluttered OH back to work, mentioned to OH that I'd like the airer out of the front room (his stuff is in the way where it used to sit ;)), planted a few more seeds, moved all the slugs and snails off my pots and plants (slug pellets are working well) and bunged grubby sofa throws into the WM (coz I couldn't be bothered to hoover them :o).

Sofa cushion covers will be next in the machine, then I guess I'd better go fly..... or maybe flutter.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
