I notice that at least one of the programs (spy sweeper) is not freeware, what happens when the 14 day trial is up?

The site is updated on a regular basis, as are all the programmes, so don't worry about trial periods etc. Just rerun it again and you'll see. If you have a firewall you may have to sit with it at the beginning to give the various programmes access permission.

There is a link on the left 'Best free utilities' and this shows the top 46 programs for various windows based stuff i.e. anti-virus, firewall, e-mail client, notepad replacer etc etc etc

its like having a naughty child in my comp!
