I emailed them yesterday, and got apologetic email this morning - hence maintainance. They said that they had stopped details from being shown.

Absolutely atrocious!! There are no excuses for this. Surely they should put a public apology on their main site, facebook etc. Even then - it would be too little, too late. :( x

They messed up, obviously not done on purpose,They have sent out emails apologising, what more can they do?

Of course they aren't gonna apologise on their site and scare off users that weren't privy to what happened.

If it was a weekday it would have been rectified quicker, but it happened over a weekend.

Yes they should be more careful, i'm sure they will be in future.

I got the standard email, then I checked again just now.
Although they've denied access to those pages of profiles, you can still see your own, or anyone else's by googling:
    your surname site:lovethatwinenews.co.uk
This brings up your profile page,eg mine is http://lovethatwinenews.co.uk/content/profile-xx(number)
Sent them another email about it just now.

BTW, if anyone is going to complain to the Information Commissioner, they will not look do anything unless you can provide evidence that you've already taken it up in writing with the organisation, and are still not satisfied.
