For those who never visit other sections of the forum:

Dippychick has noticed that lovethatwine.co.uk are giving out people’s names, addresses, usernames and mobile numbers – see
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=2514601

If you are registered on the site either through a comp or have ordered from them you are strongly advised to log in and change your details.

How to find if your details are displayed

If your name is "Smith" then Google:

Smith site:lovethatwinenews.co.uk

If you have a common surname you could try using postcode or username

I found my details on two pages

I've sent a complaint too. If they don't correct the error promptly, I will make a data protection complaint to the Information Commissioner.

Did your email bounce back or has their inbox just filled up since you sent it? Mine bounced back immediately. Will try again tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for bringing this crazy situation to our attention.

I have just found their T & C and copied the following:

I'm sure it's possible to 'cancel' your profile which I have done. Go to my lovethatwine.co.uk which you can see at the top section on right hand side.

Sad we should be trying to do this though :( Won't be creating a profile again.

Still shows them as very poor at data security.Another reason to use a mistyped dob & comping mobile.
Glad now that I have not used the site & will never do so.
