    Evening everyone,

Welcome back Tixy and thanks for your earlier post to calm the waters.;)

Handy - sorry to hear about Mrs Handy's infection she should start to pick up once the antibiotics set in, best wishes to her. Poor Lord Hooray what would he do without you, mind you, you had a touch missing out on that shift didn't you:rotfl:

Allie - sorry you still haven't heard about the job but it's not too late so keep your chin up and I will keep everything crossed for you:o

It was a hot, muggy day here but not much sun. I took the bull by the horns today and joined a well known breakdown co. called RCA as I have got a feeling in my water that my car is gonna start misbehaving:( couldn't really afford it but then I can't afford to break down either I suppose.

Hope you all have a good evening.

Rain first thing, 3Dogs, then hot sunshine and generally a bit muggyish. Managed to get 2 loads of washing out and dried. Currently seething about you know who but otherwise fine!

Hi Borassic, did you find RCA from martins tips. I need to sort out my breakdown cover as well. I can do most roadside repairs myself, but only if I have my handyman tool kit with me. Its all about peace of mind when driving. I will have another look at the money back breakdown sites later. I couldnt believe how much I could save, I'm just glad I never packaged it in with my insurance this year.

Any way I just called in to the Handy cottage to check on Mrs H. Back of now to finish hoovering out the rolls canardly Mk2 and then its out with the hosepipe till it gets dark.

    Catch you all later, handy.

Hi Handy - That should read RAC = bit of dyslexia there:o No I didn't get it from Martin's tips I got it from outside Tesco's! Can't really save on our breakdown cover as the car is registered for private hire so none of the others really offer cover for that, although it's not actually used as a minicab but had to get it done for a job I once had but it's better to keep it going for the congestion charge exemption... :shhh: ;) although I suppose old Boris will crack down on that soon too:(

Aaaarrrggghhh - the June bugs are out - b!00dy horrible things, they've just been lurking waiting for this warm weather and now we will have loads of them. Batten down the hatches ready to suffocate for the next hour or so - next it will be flying ants and I won't leave the house unless absolutely necessary when they are out!!

Way to go, Congestion charge, even !!!!!! Turpin had the Honesty to wear a Mask when he robbed travellers!. You can tell Boris went to the same public school as Lord Hooray.

    Cheers handy.
