    Have you talked to them?

No, have emailed them about both orders. I suggested that a Contract has been formed as they took the money and advised me that they had despatched.

I will see if they reply at all and what they say, then I might wind them up about 'Loss of a Bargain'.

Not really bothered, but just a bit annoyed that they didn't just cancel the order to start with.

That's what I am annoyed about, ordered for oh and my dad, only told them about the order once they had been despatched so they didn't get their hopes up about actually receiving them. My dad's asked every day this week if they have arrived yet.

They did the same to me, saying it was returned. What a lie.

I had the same emails today. Also the credit card confirms they took the money, so it looks like they have to provide the goods. Any expert view on this.
Is there an alternative, where we can claim the full price of the glasses as we have to buy them elsewhere at full price due to their breach of contract?

Ok I been onto Tesco this morning re Sunglasses:

They say that it was an error and can't sell them at that price. I advised term and conditions saying they were dispatched so entered into a contract. They said that thet were never dispatched and even though i got a dispatch email the tracking number on there indicates they were not dispatched. I advised i would like them at that price, they wont sell them and very very rude.

Onto consumer direct with another rude person on the line, advised me that evcen though i got a despatch email they say t's can say they sent it in error and taking the money has nothing to do with a contract as i cant force t's to sell me sunglasses at that price.

However, i can send them info to sell at that price and if they dont prsue them in small claims for "loss of bargain"

Well I have still heard nothing, nothing from Tesco and nothing from Consumer Direct. Looks like we're going to get know where with this though.
