Oh brilliant - which is the nicest to hold and are they pricey? I used to like to line my inner bottom eyelid with a pencil - but the L'Oreal one I used to use - has been discontinued and others seem to make my eyes itch like hell!

Correction - it was an Estee Lauder pencil - the L'Oreal makes me itch!

Edit: Just been on Boots site - so many..... do you have a link to the ones you mention?

I find the 17 one the best TBH, and the cheapest, probably why they always sell out in black:p I've got the Bourjois one at the moment but I find the nib a little too thin and hard.

    This is the 17 one

I can't find the Collection 2000, perhaps they don't do that one anymore.

    Update....

Got the 17 one - and it is perfect - almost identical to the old Rimmel one. And stays on til I take it off!

    thank you very much!

I use liquid, I like the ones that are like felt tips but dip into pots (Revlon Colourstay is good).

I do it three quarters of the way in top & bottom & taper it off to the ends. I use dark brown or black/brown. Don't like the flicks at the ends & it makes your eyes look smaller if you go to near your nose, so three quarters is enough.

Sometimes I put some brown eyeshadow over it for a soft smokey look (only if "going out").
